The history of Thailand begins with the migration of the thai people in what is today known as Thailand during the first millennium. Before that, there were others civilization during the bronze and Iron Age that lasted for several thousand years, after, the kingdoms of Mon, Malay and Khmer.

    The thai established their own kingdoms. Bigger on the short blossom of Sukhothai and longer on the Ayutthaya kingdom. These kingdoms were constantly threatened by Burma and Vietnam, also by their thai and lao enemies. The colonial European great powers menaced Thailand during the 19th and 20th century, but Thailand survived as the only state on the southeast of Asia that was not colonized. After the end of the thai absolute monarchy on 1932, Thailand was almost 6 years under an almost complete military government before the establishment of a democratic system.
